Council Realty Board

The Realty Board is made up of Knights of the Council and Social Club members. The Realty Board is charged with maintenance of the facility, upgrades to the facility, review and oversight of finances, advertising/promotional efforts and directing/assisting our management staff. Board members are elected for a three year term.

A Brief History of the St. Pius X Knights of Columbus Realty Board

In 1994, the St. Pius X Knights of Columbus Realty Corporation, with the leadership and support of Council #3433, the Council membership was expanded. This enabled better use of our facility and also helped us to reach many of our charitable objectives. The result of this expanded membership was the Northside K of C Social Club. This expansion allowed many of the wives, daughters and family members of Brother Knights to enjoy the benefits of holding a Club membership and participate in our activities. This helped the Council and Club to re-open the swimming pool. The Board of Directors eventually asked Brian Elson (Chairman of the Long Range Planning Committee) and Jim Schellinger (CEO of C.S.O. Architects) to draft a ten year master plan for the K of C Club facility. This project was successfully completed in 1998. It became a catalyst for success which has continued to guide the K of C Club on a road of growth and opportunities. These efforts are continued with the current Board of Directors. An emphasis on innovation and technology upgrades has placed the K of C in the best possible position for continued success.
